This website is intended for, and directed to, heath care professionals licensed to practice in either Australia or New Zealand. The website is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. To use this website you must be registered with Galderma.

The content provided on this website is intended as a service to health care professionals and is designed to assist health care professionals to organise training by a Galderma representative in relation to the use and administration of Galderma products.

Galderma does not endorse or attest to the validity or accuracy of any treatments, medications or non-Galderma products described, mentioned or discussed in any of the services, databases or pages accessible within or from this website or any other Galderma service or publication. WEBSITE REGISTRATION

To use this website you must register with Galderma. To register with Galderma you must provide the requested contact and professional details and your Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration number or relevant medical practitioner, nursing or dentistry New Zealand Health Council registration number.

You warrant that all information you provide is accurate at the time that it is provided including specifically, that you are a licensed health care professional. You warrant that you will immediately update Galderma if there is a change in the information provided.

Registration is solely at the discretion of Galderma and if registration is not granted or is revoked, Galderma does not need to provide any reasons to you for its decision.

Before completing your registration, Galderma will verify your registration details with AHPRA or relevant NZ Health Councils. Galderma reserves the right to verify the accuracy of any other information you have provided.

You must notify Galderma as soon as possible if you no longer practice as a medical health care professional in Australia or New Zealand and/or your registration with either AHPRA or relevant NZ Health Councils has been cancelled or suspended. On such notification, your registration with this website will be cancelled by Galderma.

Without limitation to any of the above rights, Galderma reserves the right to terminate your registration at any time without notice in its sole discretion.

Your access to the website will be protected by a password assigned to your username. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your password is kept confidential and is difficult for others to guess or otherwise determine. You warrant that you will not disclose your password to any other individual and will notify Galderma if you believe that your password is no longer confidential.

You agree that you will not allow any other person to use your account and will log out of your account when you are not personally accessing the website or controlling the device through which the website was accessed. Galderma will not be liable for any use of your username and password caused by your failure to keep these details confidential or restrict the use of devices you have used to log onto the website.

Please be aware that if a third party is permitted to use your account, that third party may post content to the website under your username. Other users of the website may be able to see this content.

INJECTION TRAINING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Enrolled Nurses (ENs) attending Galderma run training must ensure that they can demonstrate the required level of supervision as per Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) requirements. ENs will only be trained if they meet the standards set by the AHPRA Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia set out below.

ENS PRACTISING ON OR BEFORE 4 JANUARY 2022

ENs who were working in cosmetic medical procedures on or before 4 January 2022 must have been supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN) for a minimum of 75 hours. The preference is that the EN was directly supervised by the RN. If the RN was at a different location within the organisation (providing indirect supervision), there must have been a medical practitioner or nurse practitioner working in the same facility (on-site) as the EN.

ENS NOT PRACTISING ON OR BEFORE 4 JANUARY OR WHO HAVE TAKEN A CAREER BREAK

ENs not working in cosmetic medical procedures prior to 4 January 2022 or who have taken a break from practising cosmetic medical procedures must have:

practised for 1 year full time equivalent post initial registration; plus
practised for 2 years full time equivalent in a related area of practice (for example dermatology, general surgery) prior to practising in the area of cosmetic medical procedures; and
completed formal education that is relevant to the area of cosmetic medical procedures practice

ENs should not be trained on high risk injections such as around the nose, forehead and glabella region.
